Description We are looking for a skilled and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while expanding your expertise in accounts payable. Responsibilities: - Process a large volume of accounts payable invoices with precision and attention to detail. - Perform 3-way matching, ensuring alignment between purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices. - Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. - Manage daily cash payment processes efficiently. - Coordinate with managers to obtain signatures for invoice approvals. - Review contracts for compliance and accuracy before processing. - Maintain organized records through filing and other administrative tasks. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable, demonstrating attention to detail. - Proficiency in using SAP and PeopleSoft ERP systems. - Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team. - Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes and general accounting principles.
