Job Description

A school district near the Canadian border in Bad Axe, MI, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. This full-time, onsite role provides an opportunity to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting initial Special Education (SE) evaluations and re-evaluations
• Participating in child study teams to develop strategies that support student success
• Managing a caseload of approximately 50 students throughout the school year
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student assessments and interventions

Qualifications and experience:

• Valid certification as a School Psychologist
• Strong knowledge of K-12 psychological assessment and evaluation methods
• Ability to effectively communicate assessment results and recommendations
• Experience working within school systems and familiarity with child study processes
• Commitment to student advocacy and multidisciplinary teamwork

Work schedule and location:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
• Onsite role; no remote or VOCO options
• Contract duration: August 18, 2025 June 5, 2026
• Location: Bad Axe, Michigan, close to the Canadian border
